Adventure
I create adventure videos, sometimes scrambling along the peaks of a snow-covered ridge in the Welsh mountains, but sometimes just making a coffee in my local woodland. Here you’ll find a whole load of relevant, and often irrelevant, behind-the-scenes type info on locations, routes, camera gear choices and everything from my choice of ND filter to my choice of socks.
Enjoying a quiet autumn woodland coffee in the Firemaple kettle on a OneTigris firebox stove video.
Some misguided man decides to drink coffee in Uffmoor Woods every month for a full year and video it because… erm, well, because….
Spending a few hours in Uffmoor Woods in the pouring rain during storm Babet. The nearby higher ground and Clent Hills weather gave this place a proper soaking. Brilliant video
“Leave No Trace - A camping trip” is a short fun video that follows a man on a solitary wild camping trip in a remote woodland, where he encounters enigmatic events and inspires the “Leave No Trace” message in others.
Some bloke quits social media and goes and drinks coffee in the woods, in the rain, to help avoid the digital cocaine, but it back-fires as he films himself and puts it on social media, and then writes about it on social media, and then shares the video on social media, and then ouch my head hurts, get me back to the woods.
This little coffee break in Uffmoor Woods in the Clent Hills turned into a 12 month video filming project, as I decided to film an episode of what was later dubbed “Coffee in the woods” every month for a full year. It’s like looking back in time and figuring out what I did wrong in life. Clent Hills Bluebells… Coffee in the woods….. April.
A collection of hiking and wild camping videos from Snowdonia National Park, with no talking or music.
A 1 hour 20 minute video compilation hiking some of the best walking routes and mountains in Snowdonia National Park. Wild camping on some of the mountains, and just passing through some of the others.
A 3-day Cadair Berwyn wild camping and photography trip video. Quite possibly my favourite wild camping spot in the UK, to capture some incredible views, and eat steak alone on a mountain. As you do.
A 2-day solo winter wild camping trip video up onto Pen yr Ole Wen for camping views of Tryfan and the Glyders in Snowdonia National Park.
